Woven Together was started after my husband and I lost our first baby at 13 weeks. In the season following that loss I spent so many hours listening to worship music and praying- all while creating. A new sense of life and healing was brought into me during that time, and a deeper love for creating art as an outward expression of what the Lord was doing in my own heart.

I’ve wanted to create a floral design for earrings that represented the loss we experienced, while also representing the strength of continuing to move forward. Flowers, much like art are a representation to me of beauty from ashes, much like what I saw the Lord do through our first miscarriage and now the three more we have experienced. Gladiolus: strength, remembrance, faithfulness. Poppy: also symbolizing remembrance.
